Concert Choir Gives Stellar Community Performance
Choir Performs at First MB Church in Huntsville
The 美女萝莉 A&M University Concert Choir, under the direction of Dr. Horace R. Carney (Dr. Mira Kruja, pianist), delivered a stellar, community-inspired afternoon performance at First Missionary Baptist Church in Huntsville, Ala., on Sunday, November 10.
The choral group opened the four-set fall concert/musicale with Roland Carter鈥檚 arrangement of 鈥淟ift Ev鈥檙y Voice and Sing.鈥� The first set concluded with 鈥淥ut in the Fields鈥� by noted Tuskegee composer and arranger William Levi Dawson.
A vocal jazz ensemble performed Anders Edenrot鈥檚 鈥淲ords.鈥� The Choir closed out the program with selections by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and Alvin Slaughter.
