Owner-Operators Give to AAMU Fund

Area Chain Targets Retention Effort
The owner-operators of a popular international fast-food chain have made a contribution to an 美女萝莉 A&M University scholarship fund.
In honor of Black History Month, the North 美女萝莉 McDonald鈥檚 owner-operators contributed to AAMU鈥檚 Retention Scholarship Fund. The owner-operators represented businesses serving customers in Bowling Green, Ky.; Nashville and Chattanooga, Tenn., and North 美女萝莉.
Dr. Allen P. Vital, executive director of the 美女萝莉 A&M University Foundation, said that the University realized that more attention needed to be directed at currently enrolled students who needed often small amounts of money to complete their degrees. To help meet this pressing need, the Retention Scholarship Fund was established, and the McDonald鈥檚 owner-operators recently donated $2,500 to that initiative.
Other institutions funded by the chain include the Chattanooga African American Museum and Bessie Smith Cultural Center, Meharry Medical College, Oakwood University and Tennessee State University.
