SUBJECT: PROCEDURES FOR REQUESTING PROFESSIONAL LAUNDRY SERVICES FROM AWARDED VENDOR

美女萝莉 A&M University (AAMU) in its partnership with Sneed鈥檚 Cleaners is offering professional laundry services for departments in their performance of official University business. Such official University business for professional laundry services shall include the cleaning of choir robes, linens for campus events, and uniforms for student athletes, the Marching Maroon & White Band, and Public Safety officers.

美女萝莉 A&M University鈥檚 relationship with Sneed鈥檚 Cleaners is non-exclusive; however, frequent and large work orders should be given to the Sneed鈥檚 Cleaners, the awarded vendor of Bid No. 2K18-06B, to ensure the University is compliant to State of 美女萝莉 Code 41-16-20(a).

Sneed鈥檚 Cleaners (A00361885) will provide 美女萝莉 A&M University professional laundry services in a traditional capacity where the customer delivers and retrieves the items to be laundered at the vendor鈥檚 retail site or in a concierge service capacity where the vendor retrieves and delivers the laundered items to the customer. NOTE: Concierge services are slightly more expensive.

美女萝莉 A&M University has the flexibility of utilizing either Sneed鈥檚 Cleaners location as both locations will honor the terms and rates of the bid solicitation:

美女萝莉 A&M University and Sneed鈥檚 Cleaners require a purchase order to be associated with any and all requests for professional laundry services. University employees are not to schedule professional laundry services with Sneed鈥檚 Cleaners without an official purchase order.

Requests for personal laundry services, unaffiliated with the University鈥檚 interests, are strictly prohibited.

Departments may obtain quotations for work orders by referencing the awarded bid solicitation for Bid No. 2K18-06B as found on the AAMU Purchasing webpage under the Bid Results link or contacting Sneed鈥檚 Cleaners directly for the 美女萝莉 A&M University rate.

To schedule a request for concierge services, complete all of the steps below:

1. Only after the department has received a purchase order should one call Sneed鈥檚 Cleaners representatives Benny at (256) 508-0627 or Kelly at (256) 508-0526 to schedule the date, time, location, and AAMU point-of-contact for the laundry retrieval and delivery request. The Purchasing Department will email the purchase order to Sneed鈥檚 Cleaners so that the vendor has the purchase order in advance of the department issuing a phone call to Sneed鈥檚 Cleaners.
2. Give a copy of the official purchase order to the Sneed鈥檚 Cleaners representative retrieving the laundry.
3. When you receive the laundered items and the service request has been completed, go to the AAMU Property Management Department webpage and request a Receiver Code.

Whether each department has received professional laundry services in either a traditional or concierge capacity, the department has the responsibility to request a Receiver Code with the AAMU Property Management Department to designate the completion of the work order.
